Welcome to the
Mark Lissick/Wildlight Limited Edition Fine Art Print Gallery
About the Prints
With
the advent of modern printing methods, Mark is able to take images that
convey his artistic vision of our natural world and present them as works
of fine art. After carefully editing his collection with this process in
mind, the images you will find in the gallery are scanned from film and
prepared by Mark using PhotoShop as the "digital darkroom". The images are
then printed as a giclee fine art reproduction on Somerset Velvet
watercolor paper using high quality ultrachrome pigments. Printed on
either an Epson 2200, 4000 or 7600 wide carriage printer, these pigments
have exceptional color saturation and an extended color range while
achieving a print life rated at over 75 years.
Mark
then hand signs and numbers each archival print. Each image is
limited to only 150 prints and is available in a number of sizes.
The images are available in print only or matted form. Like the paper,
matte boards and backing are acid-free and archival. The texture and
quality of these images is exceptional, and are superb representations of
Mark's photographic and artistic talents.
For
the longest possible print life, care should be taken, as with any piece
of fine art, not to expose the image to high levels of moisture or
sunlight. The print should be treated as you would a quality fine art
watercolor painting. By choosing a location having normal humidity and
minimal exposure to ultraviolet light will provide many years of
pleasurable viewing. |
