
PHOTO ASSIGNMENTS
As an assignment photographer, Mark's recent work has been natural history documentation of efforts to preserve and restore fragile eco-systems such as old growth forests and prairies.
He is available for assignments and has worked on projects for Audubon, The Nature Conservancy,
U.S Fish and Wildlife, Failte (Ireland Tourist Board), The Minnesota Zoological Society and the Scientific and Natural Areas Program for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
Mark's images have appeared in a number of publications including
Outdoor Photography Magazine, Audubon, Aer Lingus, and a variety of
calendars, cards and brochures.

Writing Assignments
Mark is currently
working on a book titled "The Inner Artistry of Outdoor Photography" scheduled for publishing in 2008. He also writes teaching
guides on becoming a better nature photographer. Mark's articles have
appeared in numerous publications including Outdoor Photographer, the
Chicago Sun Times and MN Trails Magazine. In addition, he has
written and designed several photography workshop brochures and is
responsible for the content and design of this web site. He also writes

SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
Mark is available for public speaking engagements, especially for photography organizations. Talks on nature and wildlife photography and how to use a camera to protect the environment are always popular subjects. Talks on wildlife watching and conservation are of interest to conservation organizations and nature conferences. Any organization interested in a presentation should contact him to discuss speaker's fees and expenses.
